Our founders - Charles A. Ellis, PhD and Mohammad Sendi, PhD - have collectively amassed more than 20 years of extensive research experience in neuroscience and neuroinformatics analysis as well as multiple years of experience in the MedTech startup space. They have conducted groundbreaking research at renowned institutions, including the Georgia Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School, and have authored dozens of publications in prestigious academic journals and top-tier venues. With their exceptional qualifications and expertise, whether you need assistance with market analysis and regulatory planning, guidance on a grant submission, advice or training on an analysis technique, or assistance with the development and performing of novel analyses, they are impeccably equipped to guide and assist you in achieving your neuroinformatics objectives.
Dr. Charles A. Ellis holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University and completed his postdoctoral research at the Center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS) at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University, and Georgia State University. Prior to his current role as a senior research scientist at a top medical technology company, Dr. Ellis also co-founded a seed stage MedTech startup. With more than 40 scientific publications, Dr. Ellis is a leading figure in the field of interpretable and explainable machine learning and deep learning methods for neuroinformatics analysis.
Dr. Mohammad Sendi holds dual PhDs in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, and Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Techology. He completed his postdoctoral research at the McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he is now an assistant neuroscientist and instructor in psychiatry, respectively. He is also a research affiliate with the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and the Center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS). With over 50 scientific publications, Dr. Sendi is a leading figure in the fields of neuroinformatics and personalized medicine.
